The fruit of the Spirit:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control
… against such things there is no law.
This is my inspiration and hope that by sharing stories of those who demonstrate these attributes will plant enough seeds among us to change the world!
Many would call me an optimist, and I guess they are right. I honestly see the potential in every person I meet. Yet so many are discouraged and defeated when they look at the world today. But being the optimist that I am, I say it does not have to be this way.
I firmly believe that every one of us has the opportunity to improve the world simply by how we engage with others within it. A positive thought, a kind word, a genuine smile, a helping hand - all of these can make a positive difference. Yet these do not come so easily when we are focused on ourselves. They require a different perspective, a fundamental change in who we are.
From the beginning of my life as a believer in Jesus, the Holy Spirit has been at work within me to make me a new person, a better person, a true person of God. The fruit of the Spirit describes such a person and it is more of these attributes I wish to attain and inspire though writing this blog.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
